Researches urban planning with an emphasis on the processes of capitalist accumulation in space and their socio-spatial, environmental and imaginary implications, as well as their implications for environmental and urban planning law.

PhD candidate in the Postgraduate Programme in Urban and Regional Planning (PPG-PUR) linked to the Institute of Urban and Regional Planning (IPPUR) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Holds a master's degree in Law in the City Law Research Line from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), approved with distinction and recommended for publication. Graduated in Law from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets - Ibmec.

A researcher in groups at UFPB, UERJ, and UFRJ, studying the socio-environmental impacts of wind farms, the relationship between the market, territory, and society, the dimensions of power and urbanity, as well as exploring sociability and subjectivity in cities through literary works.

I met Elisa while I was still at law school, when she was a tutor for Introduction to the Study of Law. She has always shown a vocation for teaching, demonstrating mastery of the content and patience.
For her final exam, Elisa did a magnificent piece of work on the legal regulation of rivers in the city of Rio de Janeiro, carrying out empirical scientific research with Prof. Daniel Lourenço, one of the greatest references in Environmental Law in the state.
We then studied together for a master's degree in City Law at UERJ, where she had the opportunity to participate in and organize numerous congresses and seminars on the environment. She also taught Environmental Law for the undergraduate law course.
Her academic career, and now her doctorate at Ippur-UFRJ, demonstrate how well prepared she is to teach in her chosen field (the environment).
